Woodworkers who know hand tools know the name Sweetheart when it comes to chisels. Stanley has introduced or re-introduced the Sweetheart line. The new chisels are based on the 750 design and are made from high-carbon steel. According to Stanley, the chisels will sharpen easily and hold an edge for a long time. The beveled edges are quite narrow, making it easy to get into tight corners. The hornbeam handle has a wide butt end to help you accurately and squarely hit the chisel.
The Sweethearts are available in 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″, 1″ and 1-1/4″. The full 8-piece set will go for about $170.
