Woodworking Plan: 4-Tier Knife Block

A knife block is one of the most convenient and safe ways to store kitchen knives. Most knife blocks are large chunks of wood composed of a dozen or more pieces laminated together.

This one is much easier to make, but sets itself apart from the crowd from a design perspective by offering a lighter and more modern aesthetic. This is produced by incorporating gaps between rows, and by connecting together modular wooden components using aluminum angle iron.
