I started WWGOA about 4 years ago with average wood-working skills but wanted to take my skills to a much higher level. I own a hundred acres of hardwood forest and purchased a Lucas (swing-blade) saw mill. I wanted to be able to use all this lumber for furniture and cabinetry in the house my wife and I built from scratch. Georges skills

Excellent and authoritative content by a skilled teacher. My only criticism is a frequent discrepancy between advertised price of sales of merchandise and on-line billing for said merchandise. Easily resolved by ordering directly by phone

If I can see the tools used in the proper way and see the process I have a great chance of completing a project! With a membership in WWGOA you can choose your project from a long list. You don’t have to build the project of the day. George is an amazing craftsman that is a great teacher of woodworking skills and safety! Bad habits can result in loss of limbs and equipment damages. Overall you have to build your woodworking skills carefully to become a competent professional. WWGOA is one avenue for you to learn at home at your own pace.

The information and support afforded to members is invaluable. Subjects are covered in depth and detail for members.

WWGOA is a great source of information for woodworkers at any level. George has a great deal of knowledge about woodworking and he has a knack of explaining things clearly and concisely.

Woodworkers Guild always has interesting informative information. Learn something every time. I followed the step-by-step instructions on making a mirror edge charcuterie board. Turned out fantastic. I have made several sense. Very helpful informative for any woodworker.

Great community of woodworkers for all skill levels. Being from Australia it would be good to have metric conversions to help us with projects.
