Description

Installing cabinet doors can be tricky. If you’re using Euro-style hinges you need drill the cup holes just the right distance from the edge of the door and predrill in the right spot for the screw holes. When you’re putting the door on the cabinet you’ve got to get every door uniformly positioned and aligned. Kreg helps you solve these problems.

Drill for the hinges

When you’re ready to drill the cup holes use Kreg’s Concealed Hinge Jig. The jig makes it easy to set the cup distance, the distance from the edge of the cup hole to the edge of the door, and to predrill for the hinge screws. It comes with the 35 mm bit you need for the cups, equipped with a stop collar. Clamp the jig in place with a self-adjusting clamp.

Hang the doors

With the hinges installed you’re ready to put the doors on the cabinet. Kreg’s Cabinet Door Mounting Jig makes this dirt simple. Once it’s clamped to the cabinet it supports the door in just the right position so you can fasten the hinges to the cabinet. The jig is adjustable, allowing you a huge array of vertical positions.
