Description

If you don’t want to be constantly saying “What??”, or “Huh??” when people are talking to you, you need to wear hearing protection when you’re in the shop. Most woodworking tools run at over 100 decibels. That needs to be brought WAY down to make the shop environment safe for your ears. ISOTunes has lots of products that’ll help you solve this problem. Let’s look at the FREE Aware and Link 2.0.

The FREE in FREE Aware means no wires. Nothing but two ear buds, with no wire hanging on your neck. The ear buds store in a case that charges them. Aware means that you can hear what’s going on around you, like someone asking you a question, but they filter out high decibel sounds that can hurt your hearing. This is the best of both worlds if you’re commonly in an environment where you need to be able to hear people talk, and don’t want to be constantly removing your hearing protection.

The Link 2.0 is an over the ear style, which some people prefer. Changes were made from the previous model to make them more comfortable. Battery life is up to 50 hours, and a boom mic is available if you want to add that for better audio when you’re on the phone.

Both of these devices Bluetooth connect to your phone so you can listen to music or podcasts, talk on the phone, etc.
