Get Rid of Jointer Snipe

George Vondriska
Duration:   1 mins

Description

We depend on jointers to provide us with a smooth, straight edge. However, if your jointer is not properly set up, it may cause sniping, which is an excess cut at the trailing end of the material. Alternatively, during the cutting process, your material may bump into the outfeed table, halting the smooth progression of the cut. Those are both problems that prevent your jointer from doing what it should do. Let’s fix that.
