Joinery on the router table is a great thing for you to master. You can really augment the joinery arsenal that you have available in your shop. In this class, we're gonna cover mortise and tenon, cope and stile joints for doors, drawer locks, couple different methods for that, even the elusive lock miter joint is gonna be looked at. We're also gonna have a look at using your router table as a jointer so that when you start working with these pieces, you're gonna have nice, straight edges on all those pieces. Talk about equipment for just a second. Really, any router table is gonna allow you to do this. And I will be using a router table with a router lift in it in this class. And whether you have a router lift or not, you'll be able to use all these cutters and all these techniques. Suggestion is watch the whole class start to finish, get a feel for the processes, then get out in your shop and start practicing these one at a time. Get the setups right, work on those setups until you get really get good at 'em. And in no time at all, you'll be ready to start incorporating this router table joinery in your projects.
