    GREAT IDEA! I will expand on it by marking the left side of the blade too. that way i can use it when crosscutting with the mitre gauge. P.S. A Milwaukee Inksall will lay a better line than the sharpie. try one and you'll never go back to sharpie.

    I'd actually inscribe it with the carbide pencil on to the table actually. Markers erase after a while. I do that sometimes in the workshop, but some people don't like to do that on shared tools. Same can, and should be done on miter saws as well imho.
